Park City offers a variety of real estate opportunities. From luxurious Deer Valley and Park City Mountain Resort ski lodges; to gorgeous homes within gated, golf communities; to wonderful family neighborhoods chalk full of kids, pets, schools, trail access and parks, all in walking distance; to historic miner’s “shacks”, frequently with colorful pasts…to everything in between.
Old Town, the Resort area and parts of lower Deer Valley are often the place to be because of their walkability/proximity to skiing, Main Street, rental potential and the free, comprehensive bus system. There are charming historic and non-historic homes and convenient condominium options in these neighborhoods where property management companies or home owner associations can handle property maintenance. Most of these areas allow vacation rentals, so although not required, rentals are often permitted, which means rental income for those who want it. Long-term rentals are allowed just about everywhere in Deer Valley and Park City.
Deer Valley, Old Town, the Aerie, Prospector, Thaynes Canyon and Park Meadows are all in Park City “proper” and have a mixture of part and full-time residents. The Colony, Willow Creek Estates, Old Ranch Road and the rest of the Snyderville Basin also have a great mix of residents. Some of whom bought originally as a “second home” owners, who are now lucky enough to live and play in Park City full-time! Each neighborhood, “In Town” and throughout the “Basin Area” have their own authentic character and attractions. No matter where you are in Park City and Deer Valley, you’re close to: skiing, golf, fine dining, parks, schools, hiking/biking trails – from flat, to mountainous to extreme, depending upon your energy level and ability – concerts, culture, the arts, festivals, shopping, gallery strolls, museums, casual dining spots, swimming, boating, ballooning, zip lining, alpine sliding, fishing and just about every other indoor/outdoor activity you can imagine! The options and opportunities are absolutely endless!
Park City’s winters are world-famous but the amazing summer weather and recreational activities have many saying “we came for the winters but we stayed for the summers!” And then there is our incredible airport access to Salt Lake City International Airport – which is about 45 minutes from Park City. How ‘bout that nifty Resort Town amenity!
